Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of our website and the window film services provided by Greenhouse Solar Control. Last updated: June 9, 2026.

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website houstonwindowstint.com and the window tinting and window film installation services provided by Greenhouse Solar Control ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

Services & Estimates

Greenhouse Solar Control provides residential and commercial window film installation across the Houston, TX metropolitan area. Estimates are provided free of charge and are based on an on-site assessment of your windows. Estimates are valid for the period stated on the quote and may change if project scope, window count, glass type, or accessibility differs from what was assessed.

Scheduling is subject to availability. We will confirm appointment dates and any access requirements in advance.

Pricing & Payment

Project pricing is set out in your written estimate. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the installation. Any additional work beyond the agreed scope will be quoted separately before it is performed.

Warranty

Residential window film installations include a workmanship warranty and the applicable manufacturer warranty on the film product, covering defects such as bubbling, peeling, cracking, and discoloration under normal conditions. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by improper cleaning, abrasion, accidents, structural issues, or pre-existing glass or seal conditions. Specific warranty terms are provided with your project documentation.

Customer Responsibilities

To complete an installation, we require interior access to the windows being treated and a reasonably clear work area. Window film is applied to clean glass in sound condition; we will identify any pre-existing damage, failed seals, or incompatible Low-E coatings during assessment and discuss options before proceeding.

Newly installed film requires a 15–30 day cure period. During this time, slight haziness or small water pockets are normal. Customers agree to follow the provided aftercare instructions, including waiting before cleaning the film and avoiding ammonia-based cleaners.
