Window graphics film is not the right choice for every commercial situation. We recommend alternative solutions when:
Your building management restricts window coverage above 25–30%. Some Houston commercial property management companies and HOAs limit the percentage of glass that can be covered with graphics. We verify restrictions before producing materials.
You need illuminated signage visible at night. Window graphics are not backlit. Perforated and printed films are essentially invisible after dark unless externally illuminated. Businesses requiring nighttime visibility should consider channel letters or illuminated cabinet signs in addition to (not instead of) window graphics.
Your glass is in poor condition. Cracked, chipped, or delaminating dual-pane windows cannot support adhesive graphics without risking further damage. We assess glass condition during the free consultation.
You need graphics on textured or patterned glass. Film adhesion requires smooth glass surfaces. Textured, wire-reinforced, or deeply patterned glass may not achieve full contact, leading to bubbling and premature failure.
High-vandalism locations without protective film. In areas prone to graffiti or intentional damage, we recommend layering anti-graffiti film over graphics. The sacrificial clear film can be replaced if vandalized, protecting the branded graphic underneath.
